The short version
Live Pooja has no accounts, no sign-in and no tracking. We do not ask you for your name, your email or anything else, and there is no way to give them to us. Nothing you do during a puja is sent anywhere — the whole ritual runs inside your own browser.
What is stored on your device
A few small preferences are kept in your browser's local storage so the site behaves the way you left it. They never leave your device and we cannot read them:
- whether you turned the temple sound on or off;
- whether you dismissed the prompt asking to use your phone's motion sensor.
Clearing your browser data removes them. We do not use cookies, and we do not use advertising or analytics cookies of any kind.
Your phone's motion sensor
On a phone, tilting the device moves the sanctum slightly, so the room has depth. That uses the standard motion and orientation sensor, and your phone will ask your permission before it is switched on. The readings are used only to move the picture, in the moment, on your device. They are never recorded and never transmitted. If you refuse permission, everything else works exactly as before.
Your camera, microphone, location and contacts
Not used, not requested, not accessible to this site.
What our server sees
Like every web server, ours records ordinary technical request logs: the IP address the request came from, the time, the page or file requested, and the browser's user-agent string. These exist to keep the site running and secure. They are not linked to any person, are not sold or shared, and are not used to build a profile of you.
Other companies
The site loads no third-party scripts, fonts, ad networks or social widgets. Nothing on the page phones anyone but us.
The Android app
The Live Pooja app on Google Play is the same website, presented as an app. It collects nothing beyond what is described above. Google Play itself may collect installation and crash information under Google's own privacy policy, which is outside our control.
Children
The site is suitable for all ages and, because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either.
Your rights
Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to show you, correct or delete. If you believe otherwise, write to us and we will look into it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be noted here.
